In a new agricultural outlook this week, Kenrick Jordan, senior economist with BMO Capital Markets, forecasts essentially flat growth for 2011 of only 0.2%, with crop production slipping 1% while the relatively smaller livestock sector grows 4.5% on poor weather, higher input costs and a strong loonie.
