The Energy Hedge Fund Center was acquired in 2011 by Midas Medici, a green IT company that supplies mid-sized and select enterprises and institutions with leading-edge IT solutions in the fields of virtualization, cloud computing and data management, as well as working with utilities and other institutions to transform the electric grid through digital technologies. Midas Medici also owns CommodityPoint, A Division of UtiliPoint International, Inc., the leading commodity trading and risk management technology analysts. The EHFC is now managed by CommodityPoint.
The EHFC website has changed. It is no longer a community which you have to join but an information portal where the information may be accessed by all browsers. It will continue to provide coverage and insights into Commodity Hedge Funds as it has in the past. Additionally, the Directory of Commodity Hedge Funds is being re done and will be available once again towards the end of the year and … Energy hedge is also being resurrected as a monthly free newsletter.
